Abstract

Growth and Structure Refinement of CaSeO4·2 H2O.-Single crystals of the title compound are prepared from Na2SeO4 and CaCl2 by a controlled diffusion process with a diaphragm technique ( yielding "swallowtail" twinned crystals) followed by ultra-sound treatment in EtOH.
