Alkaloids U 0600Highly Efficient Domino Reaction for the Synthesis of the Erythrina and B-Homoerythrina Alkaloid Skeleton. -The aziridination-spirocyclization reaction of amines with oxocarboxylates results in formation of compounds (III) and (VI) with the characteristic tetracyclic aza-spiro structure of the alkaloids.
