Abstract: K2Cr2O7, K2Cr3Om, and K2Cr4O13 dissolve in the molten salt solvent but do not react until the temp. range of anhydrous Ca(NO3)2, when Lux‐Flood acid‐base reaction occurs yielding chromate.
