ChemInform Abstract: Molten Salt Synthesis of Sodium Lithium Titanium Oxide Anode Material for Lithium Ion Batteries.

Abstract: Na2Li2Ti6O14 is prepared by an optimized molten salt synthesis via reaction of Na2CO3, Li2CO3 (5‐20% excess to compensate for Li evaporation), and TiO2 in a eutectic NaCl/KCl flux (Al2O3 crucible, 700—900 °C, 2—16 h).
