Abstract: Die Beckmann‐Umlagerung der aus den Bicycloheptanonen (I), (V) und (VIII) zugänglichen Mesitylensulfonyloxime führt zu den bicyclischen Lactamen (III) und (IV), (VI) und (VII) bzw. (IX), wobei die Cyclopentafblpyrrole bevorzugt gebildet werden.
