Abstract

On photochemically induced metalation with Fe(CO)5 (II) the allenes (I) give the binuclear acyl‐Fe complexes (IV), in which the central C atom of the allene unit is attached to a CO group, and/or their decarbonylation products, the π‐allyl,σ complexes (III).
