ChemInform Abstract: Selective Esterification of N‐Benzyl‐L‐aspartic Acid. Part 1. Some Modified Methods for the Preparation of N‐Benzylaspartic Anhydride Hydrobromide.
Abstract:ChemInform Abstract The most convenient route to the title anhydride (VI) is the one-pot reaction of N-benzylaspartic acid (V), derived from maleic anhydride (I), with 30% HBr in AcOH and Ac2O. (VI) is selectively esterified to afford the product (VII).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
