Abstract

Selective Reduction by Lithium Bis-or Tris(dialkylamino)aluminum Hydrides. Part 4. Transformation of Primary Carboxamides to Aldehydes by Lithium Tripiperidinoaluminum Hydride.-The direct conversion of carboxamides into the corresponding aldehydes is in general efficiently achieved using the readily obtainable title Li-reagent (16 examples). -(CHA, J.
