ChemInform Abstract: Sodium‐Iodoxybenzoate Mediated Highly Chemoselective Aziridination of Olefins.

Abstract: Sodium-Iodoxybenzoate Mediated Highly Chemoselective Aziridination of Olefins. -Sodium 2-iodoxybenzoate as a highly specific oxidant for N-aminophthalimide (II) is utilized for the first time to generate a highly chemoselective aziridination reagent. This novel protocol efficiently effects aziridination of electron-deficient, electron-rich, alkenyl bromide and allylic alcohol C=C bonds in good to excellent yields. -(BAKTHAVACHALAM, A.; CHUANG, H.-C.; YAN*, T.-H.; Tetrahedron 70 (2014) 35, 5884-5894, http://dx.
