Abstract: Transition Metal Complexes as Counterions. -Compounds (IVa,b) crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 2, and compounds (V) and (VI) in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with Z = 4. (IV) and (V) contain [Sn2Se6] 4anions and [Ni(en) 3 ] 2+ or [M(en)(trien)] 2+ (M: Co, Ni) cations.
