Abstract

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Benzyl (-)-(2S)-1-trityl-2aziridinecarboxylate. -In view of the importance of aziridinecarboxylate derivatives in bioorganic chemistry, e.g. for the synthesis of amino acids and antibiotics, the title compound (II) is prepared from the protected serine ester (I).
