ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis and Crystal Structure of NaMgFe(MoO₄)₃.

Abstract

Crystals of the title compound are prepared from HNO3 solutions containing NaNO3, Mg(NO3)2, Fe(NO3)3, and (NH4)6Mo7O24 with an atomic ratio Na:Mg:Fe:Mo = 5:1:1:7, which are evaporated to dryness followed by heating in air (Pt crucible, 673 K for 24 h, and 1123 K for 2 h).
