ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Bis(1,2,3)triazolo(1,5‐a:4′,5′‐d)pyrimidin‐9‐ones.

Abstract: ChemInform Abstract Reaction of the azidotriazoles (III) with the active methylene nitriles (V) yields the tricyclic products (VI) instead of the previously reported compounds (IV). Structure (VI) is confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy as well as by X-ray analysis of the methylation product (VIIIb) (space group: P1).
