Abstract

1997 luminescence, fluorescence luminescence, fluorescence (solids and liquids) D 6540 -005Synthesis and Low-Voltage Characteristics of CaTiO3:Pr Luminescent Powders.-The optical and material properties of the title phosphors, prepared by conventional combustion methods are studied with regard to a possible application for field emitter displays. Maximal photoluminescence is obtained by optimization of preparation conditions. CaTiO3:Pr of perovskite structure, deposited electrophoretically onto indium-tin oxide glass and excited by field emitter arrays yields lumen intensity up to 10 cd/m2 with chromaticity of X = 0.625 and Y = 0.297. -(CHO, S.
