Abstract

020ChemInform Abstract The title compound has been obtained in 70% yield (based on Ga) from the hydrothermal reaction of tetramethoxosilane, NMe4OH, and Ga2O3 (autoclave, 180 rc C, 5 d). The structure of NMe4GaSi5O12 is cubic body-centered, a = 0.8975 nm. The compound is further characterised using IR spectroscopy and DTA.
