Abstract

Synthesis and Structural Elucidation of (±)-3,4-Dihydrocoumarins by 2D-NOESY Spectrum. -TFA-mediated condensation of substituted phenols with cinnamic acids provides 3,4-dihydrocoumarins (III) (14 examples).
