Abstract

Synthesis and Structure-Activity Relationships of New (5R,8R,10R)-Ergoline Derivatives with Antihypertensive or Dopaminergic Activity. -Among a series of new ergoline derivatives compound (III) is a potent dopamine D1-and D2-agonist. Product (V) is an extremely potent and selective dopamine D2-agonist, but is inactive as antihypertensive. Derivative (VIIIa) and especially (VIIIb) show high antihypertensive activity.
