Abstract:Synthesis, Crystal Structure, and Properties of Ag 3 SbO 4 . -The new silver antimonate of title is prepared by solid state reaction of a stoichiometric mixture of Ag2O and Sb2O3 under elevated oxygen pressure (autoclave, 50-220 MPa O2, 400-550°C). Ag3SbO4 is isostructural with Ag3RuO4 and crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4122 (Z = 4; powder XRD).
