ChemInform Abstract: Tetrathiosquarate, C₄S₄^2‐ , a Versatile Ligand in Metal Complexes.

Abstract

As shown in the scheme, tetrathiosquarate acts as a bridging bis(chelate) ligand in the complexes (III) and as a monochelate in (VII), (VIII) and (IX) which are prepared from the dichloro‐Ni analogue, from the Ni oligomer (X) + pyridine, or from Zn sulfate.
