Abstract: Der potentiell dreizähnige Ligand N ,N,N ′,N ′‐Tetramethylpyridin‐2,6‐dicarboxamid, der durch Umsetzung von überschüssigem Dimethylamin mit Pyridin‐2,6‐dicarbonsäuredichlorid in Benzol in 80%iger Ausbeute entsteht, bildet mit Cu(II)‐chlorid den quadratisch‐pyramidalen Komplex (I).
