Abstract: Der Ester (I) wird mit Thiophen (IIa) in Methylenchlorid zu den Ester (IIIa) (5%) und (IVa) (34%) umgesetzt, mit den Aromaten (IIb) nur zu den entsprechenden Mandelsäureanalogen (IIIb) (62 bzw. 87%).
