Abstract:Using carbon dioxide as a feedstock for synthesizing organic molecules with added value can contribute to a more sustainable chemical industry since CO2 is an abundant, inexpensive, and nontoxic renewable carbon resource. In this regard, the synthesis of cyclic carbonates and related organic compounds from CO2 as building blocks has been widely studied, and less attention has been paid to their stereocontrolled process. Therefore, this review focuses on the recent development of enantioselective catalysts for … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
