Abstract:Choline oxidase from Alcaligenes sp. (ChOx) is used to generate hydrogen peroxide in situ from choline‐based ionic liquids (ILs) to fuel peroxidase‐mediated biocatalysis, while mitigating oxidative degradation of the heme‐dependent enzymes.
