Abstract:An infant was admitted with suspected postinfectious malabsorption with watery diarrhoea, fever and failure to thrive. She had dehydration, acute kidney injury and metabolic acidosis, which were corrected with intravenous fluids and managed with empiric antibiotics and prophylactic antifungals.
