Chronic hepatitis B in rheumatic diseases: issues of screening and reactivation of infection: A review

Abstract: Patients with rheumatic diseases infected with hepatitis B virus (HBV) are difficult to manage not only due to the presence of risk factors for the development and rapid progression of liver cirrhosis, but also due to the likelihood of reactivation of this infection.
