Circadian clock disruption promotes the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons

Abstract: Sleep and circadian rhythm disruptions are frequent comorbidities of Parkinson's disease (PD), a disorder characterized by the progressive loss of dopaminergic (DA) neurons in the substantia nigra.
