Abstract:Circadian rhythms, intrinsic cycles spanning approximately 24 h, regulate numerous physiological processes, including sleep–wake cycles, hormone release, and metabolism. These rhythms are orchestrated by the circadian clock, primarily located in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) of the hypothalamus.
