Abstract: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a popular method used to investigate brain function. Stimulation over the motor cortex evokes muscle contractions known as motor evoked potentials (MEPs) and also high frequency volleys of electrical activity measured in the cervical spinal cord.
