We present a mobile-based navigation system with the emphasis on the pedestrian navigation for Hospital Kuala Lumpur (henceforth, HKL) named as HKLNS. This practical research aimed to provide support and help for the people who come to the HKL. Despite having signages, layouts and other types of guidance to help them navigate, they might not be sure their current location and the destination’s paths. By using the OpenStreetMap (OSM) and Graphhopper API as a solution, it managed to help people to navigate the surrounding of the HKL. The findings showed that users were able to know their current location and the system generated the shortest pedestrian paths to the desired location using both mappings. The functionality testing and experimental results surrounding HKL demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach. The HKLNS was reliable based on the functionality and validation testing conducted towards 5 respondents with 5 different case study, in which it manage to reduce more than 50% time taken with the t-test result of 0.00041 (p0.05), indicated that the system was accepted.

<p>This paper proposed three designs of microstrip array patch antennas, to resonate at 2.4 GHz. The purpose of the study is to achieve size reduction with acceptable performance for wireless communication system applications. Based on the array concept, the array antennas are arranged using corporate network technique. It is found that the simulated 4x3 patch array antenna achieved the compact size with dimension reduced up to 26% compared to 4x1 and 4x2 array patch antennas. In terms of return loss, the antenna attenuated more than 19 dB. The 4x3 patch array antenna is fabricated and measured using RO4350 microstrip substrate to validate the concept. The responses are found in good agreement between simulation and measurement.</p>

The development of wireless network technology, particularly WiFi 6 at 5GHz, offers greater reliability and data transfer capacity. Antenna design is a crucial aspect in optimizing WiFi 6 networks in complex wireless environments. The study examined a rectangular patch 2x2 MIMO Antenna for WiFi 6 at 5GHz with a focus on improving network parameters such as return loss, bandwidth, VSWR, and gain. The use of various methods and references from Balanis (2005) and Webster (2021) supports the development of antenna technology, while previous research by Ni Putu Kartika Dewi (2019) strengthens the understanding of microstrip antennas for LTE applications. The main objectives of the study were to design and simulate a rectangular patch 2x2 MIMO Antenna for WiFi 6, as well as analyze simulation data using CST Studio Suite 2019 software. This research uses hardware in the form of Acer Aspire laptops and CST Studio Suite 2019 as simulation software and antenna design. The simulation results show that this antenna is able to work in the frequency range of 4.5-5.2 GHz with a bandwidth of 55.4 MHz and return loss of -20.677981 dB, VSWR 1.2038357, and gain 3.429 dBi with omnidirectional radiation patterns. However, the addition of antenna patches has an impact on decreasing gain. This study provides an in-depth understanding of MIMO antenna design to support WiFi 6 performance in complex wireless environments.
