Abstract:Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) is a promising, noninvasive tumor 'liquid biopsy' with quantitative and qualitative significance. Circulating cfDNA levels are raised in cancer patients and cfDNA exhibits genetic and epigenetic changes found in the underlying tumor.
