Circulating MicroRNA Biomarker Studies: Pitfalls and Potential Solutions

Abstract: BACKGROUND Circulating microRNAs have been proposed as disease biomarkers that may aid in risk assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of treatment response.
