Abstract: Astrocytes, vital support cells in the central nervous system (CNS), are crucial for maintaining neuronal health. In neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), astrocytes play a key role in clearing toxic amyloid-β (Aβ) peptides.
