Abstract:One of the most serious complications of modern anesthesia is malignant hyperthermia, which is a pharmacogenetic disease, phenotypically manifested by skeletal muscle hypermetabolism and rhabdomyolysis during or after general anesthesia with the use of inhalation anesthetics.
