CMTM3 as a Potential New Immune Checkpoint Regulator

Abstract: Objectives. To evaluate the role of CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 3 (CMTM3) in tumor microenvironment and cancer immunotherapy and explore its potential mechanism. Method. The cancer genome map was obtained from the UCSC Xena database. RNAseq data from the Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) databases were utilized for evaluating the expression and prognostic value of CMTM3 through survival data of clinical trials. The enrichment analysis of CMTM3 was perform… Show more

“…CLEC11A is a protein-coding gene that signi cantly participates in the tumor microenvironment and immune cell communication and can predict protein survival in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) (27). CMTM3 was associated with cell growth and migration in oral squamous cell carcinoma (28) and pancreatic cancer (29) and has roles in the tumor microenvironment and cancer immunotherapy (30). COLGALT1 was identi ed as a biomarker for predicting prognosis and immune responses for kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (31).…”

“…CLEC11A is a protein coding gene significantly participating in tumor microenvironment and immune cells' communication, and can predict the survival of protein in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) [27] . CMTM3 is not only related to the cell growth and migration of oral squamous cell carcinoma [28] and pancreatic cancer [29], but also has the role in tumor microenvironment and cancer immunotherapy [30]. COLGALT1 has been reported as a biomarker for predicting prognosis and immune responses for kidney renal clear cell carcinoma [31].…”
