Co-Expression Network Analyses of Anthocyanin Biosynthesis Genes in Ruellia (Wild Petunias; Acanthaceae)

Abstract: Background. Anthocyanins are major pigments contributing to flower coloration and as such knowledge of molecular architecture underlying the anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway (ABP) is key to understanding flower color diversification.
