Abstract:To investigate the evolution of pore-permeability induced by mineral dissolution and precipitation during supercritical CO 2 (scCO 2 ) sequestration in matrix-fracture discontinuous depleted carbonate reservoirs, a 3D geological model incorporating THMC processes was developed based on Luojiazhai reservoir characteristics. This study thoroughly examines the migration behavior of scCO 2 , mineral dissolution and precipitation reactions, and the subsequent physical changes in the reservoir. The results indicate … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
