Abstract:Even from the first months after the detection of the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus, coagulation abnormalities have been a distinctive feature of this respiratory infection. During the evolution of the pandemic a bulk of data, some of them contradictory, on the pathogenesis and clinical management of this COVID-19 associated coagulopathy have been emerged. in the present paper we review most relevant data on this topic published at the present.
