Abstract:Phenylhydrazine (C6H5NHNH2; PHZ) is a redox derivative of hydrazine with wide applicability in chemical-based industries. Exposure to PHZ can be established via oral, inhalation, and dermal routes 1 . Its use as a pharmacological agent against polycythaemia vera qualifies it as a toxicological agent of haemolysis in healthy animals.
