Abstract:Coercivity and magnetic viscosity studies are presented in coprecipitated and ceramic BaFe12O19 hexaferrites. According to magnetic viscosity formalism, the activation volumes are obtained and for ceramic sample the temperature dependence of the activation volume is reported. Using remanence curves, interactions are evaluated by means of the ΔM technique. In both samples, interactions are evidenced, particularly demagnetizing‐like interactions. The activation volume values seem to indicate that coherent rotati… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
