Coinfection with hepatitis a and leptospira in jaundice children

Abstract: Mixed infection is a challenge to the treating clinician. Infection like Hepatitis A and Leptospirosis are prevalent in developing countries. The spectrum of clinical severity of both Leptospira and Hepatitis A ranges from mild infection to jaundice. Awareness and appropriate use of investigations can overcome the diagnostic dilemmas.
