Collaborative, Innovative Quality Improvement Activity: Development of Queensland Ambulance Service Stickers

Abstract: This article discusses the implementation of 3 targeted interventions aimed at reducing infection rates in patients due to prolonged in situ intravascular catheters (IVCs) during their admission to the hospital. These IVCs are inserted by paramedics with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) in prehospital settings.
