Abstract:Experimental studies of the broadening of the absorption line J = 6 7 of (CΗ3 )3 CCΝ due to collisions with the foreign perturbers He, CO2, OCS, and CΗ3CΝ have been carried out. The magnitude of the broadening coefficients reflects the type of interactions occurring in the molecular collisions. It has been concluded that the dipole-dipole and dipole-quadrupole interactions are predominant in the (CH3)3CCN admixed with CΗ3CΝ and OCS. In the collisions between (CΗ 3 )3 CCΝ and CO2 the dipole-quadrupole interacti… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
