“…Every effort has advantages and disadvantages unique to it. Nevertheless, it has been proven that one of the best and most widely used techniques in aqueous electrolytes is the employment of organic molecules [ 10 , 11 , 12 , 13 ]. Numerous organic compound families, particularly heterocycle ones, are widely used in corrosion prevention [ 14 , 15 , 16 ].…”

“…On the other hand, chelate ligand 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) acts as an ending-seal function, inhibiting the 2D or 3D extension of Ni(II), thus forming the 1D structures (Scheme S1). Two spatially auxiliary ligands tend to block the H 6 L sites for the optimization of structures and improve the skeleton stability of the MOFs by π–π interactions and supramolecular interplays. Furthermore, the electrochemical glucose-sensing performance of as-synthesized Ni(II)-MOFs was measured systematically, and the structure–activity relationship was elucidated. At optimal conditions, CTGU-34 exhibits a record response time of less than 0.4 s, which is superior to the reported nonenzymatic electrochemical sensors.…”

“…6 Bismarck Brown Y (BB) dye is widely used in staining of biological tissues and tanning of leather. 7 It goes as waste in the later industries which leads to water pollution. 8 Hence, if the dye could be recovered and profitably used in the synthesis of fluorescent probes, photovoltaic devices and light emitting diodes, it can not only solve the problem of water pollution but also save the cost of designing multifunctional polymers.…”
