Abstract: <p>Hypertension is considered as the predominant risk factor for the onset of Cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the elder population. The chronic activation of Renin Angiotensin System (RAS) is considered as the primary causative factor for the inception of hypertension in geriatric population.
