Combined targeting of pathways regulating synaptic formation and autophagy attenuates Alzheimer’s disease pathology in mice

Abstract: All drug trials completed to date have fallen short of meeting the clinical endpoint of significantly slowing cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) patients.
