Abstract:Butragüeño-Laiseca et al. 1 present a nonrandomized intervention study on 115 critically ill children treated with intravenous (IV) iron sucrose. They claim its safety and efficacy in treating anemia with iron deficiency (ID), but the study's limitations raise concerns about accepting this conclusion.
