Commentary: Two bullectomies for one pneumothorax—A good deal?

Abstract: Primary or idiopathic spontaneous pneumothorax represents a significant clinical and health care problem, with an annual incidence of 18 to 28/100,000 in the male population and 1.2 to 6/100,000 in the female population. 1 It typically occurs in tall, thin patients between the ages of 10 and 30 years and rarely in those older than 40 years.
