Abstract:We congratulate Bouvier et al for their study. 1 They analyzed survival rates for 8785 patients who underwent curative colorectal cancer (CRC) resection in seven European countries.There was a statistically significant difference for overall 5-year standardized survival, with reduced survival in Bulgaria (60.8%) and Estonia (62.2%); in the other five countries 5-year standardized survival was increased: Germany 66.3%,
