Abstract:The growing use of hydrogen gas across energy, transportation, and chemical applications necessitates better hydrogen sensors and detectors. Few sensors exist for quantifying hydrogen gas in a corrosive, oxygen-free gas stream due to the challenging nature of the sampling environment and current technological status. Handheld, economic options include palladium-based, metal oxide, catalytic bead, and electrochemical sensors. More permanent and costly options include electrochemical sensors, thermal gas analyze… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
