Abstract:Background: Diabetes is the most serious, threatening and growing global health problem, leading to high morbidity and mortality and increasing health care costs. A patient's lack of understanding and self-help about the disease only exacerbates the situation. Community-based, supported learning is a skill that helps improve the patient experience.
